Occupational Health Medical Services
Occupational Health Staffing falls under working in an occupational health site, namely, industrial construction sites. Construction sites can be anything— from a typical outside construction site, to a site that is in a music hall theatre, to in the center of a university lot, to many more.
OHTs work with Site Safety Managers and other managers on site to ensure a safe working environment for the site’s workers. Any injuries that occur are treated on site if possible, and the patient be referred to urgent care for further treatment if necessary, or go to the hospital by an ambulance called by the onsite OHT.
While the hours start early, depending on the site they can end early as well. Occupational Health Staffing namely are made up of Occupational Health Technicians/OHT, or Emergency Medical Technicians who have medical experience but also possess special training, such as an OSHA 30, and DOT Blood Alcohol Content and Drug Testing.
